Ruth E. “Robin” Delaney, CFP(R), CLU, ChFC, MCRS
Ruth E. “Robin” Delaney, Certified Financial Planner (CFP(R)), Charter Life Underwriter (CLU), Charter Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Master Certified Retirement Specialist (MCRS) is the president and founder of Greenleaf Financial Strategies, Inc. She holds a BS in Mathematics/Economics from Regis College, MA, a MBA in Finance from Hofstra University, NY and a MS in Accounting from Adelphi University, NY. Robin brings more than 30 years of financial and management experience to the Greenleaf team.
A strong believer in community activity and support, she is the past president and treasurer of the board of directors of A Brighter Community, Inc. a not-for-profit day care facility for “at-risk” children in the Tampa Bay area. Robin is the newly elected Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Morning Sun Center of Hope, Inc., an American-Chinese medical orphanage for Chinese children. She is also a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Financial Analyst Society of Tampa Bay and the Society of Financial Services Professionals.
Before relocating to the Tampa Bay area more than 10 years ago, Robin worked with individuals and not-for-profit entities in the greater New York area. In Tampa, she works with individuals, as well as for profit and non-profit entities, helping them to craft wealth accumulation strategies that are prudent and effective for the investor.
